At The GOAT 12V Oracle, our mission is to teach the WHY behind every installation—not just the HOW.
Too many people believe that because a system is only 12 or 24 volts, it’s automatically safe. The truth is, low voltage does not mean low risk.
A poorly designed electrical system can:
Overheat wires, Damage pumps and electrical components, Reduce performance through excessive voltage drop, Cause premature equipment failure & Lead to costly downtime and repairs
That’s why every system should be designed using Ohm’s Law, proper wire sizing, and real-world testing—not guesswork.
A voltage drop test tells you how much voltage your pump is actually receiving while it’s under load.
Measure the voltage at the battery and then at the pump while it’s running.
Example:
Battery Voltage: 13.8V – Pump Voltage: 11.9V
That much voltage loss means the wiring is restricting performance and should be corrected.
One of the most common mistakes is calculating wire length incorrectly.
The total circuit length is:
Positive wire + Negative return wire
A 10-foot run to the pump is actually 20 feet of wire in the electrical calculation.
Ignoring the return path results in undersized wiring and unnecessary voltage drop.
Every installation should be based on:
Ohm’s Law, Continuous and startup (surge) current, Total circuit length, Proper voltage drop calculations, Correct overcurrent protection & Quality marine-grade components
Whenever practical, choose a wire size one or two gauges larger than the minimum requirement. Larger wire helps reduce voltage drop, improves reliability, and gives your system room to grow.
We believe in building systems that last.
Whenever practical, size your wiring one or two wire gauges larger than the minimum requirement.
Benefits include:
Lower voltage drop, Cooler operating temperatures, Better pump performance, Longer equipment life, Greater reliability & Room for future upgrades
Before buying parts or building a system:
Think about what your system requires.
Plan using real electrical calculations—not assumptions.
Act by testing your work with a voltmeter and verifying the results.
Every successful electrical system starts with knowledge, proper planning, and proven installation practices.
Built by Ohm’s Law. Proven in the Field.
Built by Ohm’s Law. Proven in the Field.
If you want to stay in business, you must understand your equipment.
One of the most important tools you can own is a multimeter (voltage meter). It takes the guessing out of troubleshooting and shows you exactly what’s happening in your electrical system.
Don’t guess. Test. Verify. Prove it.
A multimeter isn’t just for your soft wash rig. You’ll use it on batteries, trailers, vehicles, generators, equipment, and countless electrical systems throughout your life.
Learning how to use one will save you time, money, unnecessary parts replacements, and costly downtime.
Knowledge builds confidence. Testing builds proof.
DO THE TEST!
Testing is the only way to know whether your setup was installed correctly.
You can perform this test on your machine, your wiring, or any part of the build. Never assume it is right—measure it and prove it.
Test it once. Correct any problems. Then get back to work and make money.
Because downtime… well, you already know. We’re not even going to say it.
Voltage meters don’t lie.

The SharpShooter by C & R is a custom-made, precisely drilled, shooter tip using forced-cone technology. Safety is extremely important and this shooter tip design allows you to do your job effectively while standing on the ground. Our company spent a year in water-flow dynamics research to develop this precise and powerful shooter tip. The SharpShooter by C & R produces a tighter stream, longer distance, and less atomization. Four carefully crafted tips are available, each made of aluminum and fully anodized to increase its longevity while remaining lightweight. These shooter tips can be used with soft wash systems, cold water machines, and hot water machines. They can also be used for down-streaming and pulling chemical. Each tip is custom-designed for use with differ most pressure washers, dependent on your machine’s PSI and gallons per minute. The different colored tips allow easy recognition of sizes without having to dig through your toolbox. In addition, the dual tip holder provides more space between various tips for ease of use. Stand back and let the SharpShooter by C&R do all the work for you! Quality and ingenuity to help you work easier, safer, and more effectively! Get yours here @ https://www.cnrccp.com/
