  • Always have a ballvalve Before the gun. Just incase the gun breaks in the open. You can finish the job. Turn it off with the ballvalve.
  • I only use MEGA TAPE holds up so much better with SH
  • I use so many Guns all depends on the job of course. The famous Orange gun not in pic.
  • I only use my soft wash for roofs or nasty DW.

This ensures maximum flow with minimal restriction, giving your pump efficiency and long life.

1 of many old Setup’s. Open port to run my rust remover Or degreaser through it in builk.

Every build will be diffrent all depends on what your work calls for. We all don’t wash the same. but we all finish with the same results on the veteran guys out here. This you can change, You can’t change the OHMS LAW or Flow Charts that have been proven. Also Multimeters (Voltage Meters) don’t lie.

People always asked what with the one out the side. That’s when I am flushing it. I have both waters open so I am not starving the pump.

Nozzle / Tip Guide (5 GPM and up)

  • 0040 → Shooter Tip Style.
  • 0030 → Can try this size for more height, just make sure pump don’t cycle
  • 2540 → Balanced wide stream for most jobs.
  • 2550 → Preferred on windy days; slightly higher flow to cut through wind.
  • 1540 → Useful when you need more heavy Coats in tough conditions.
  • Bigger the orifice will give less pressure and more flow. If the tip is to small the pump will cycle and that’s bad.

Mega Tips not Surface cleaning tips: Adjust based on weather conditions, surface type, and dwell time needed. Always match tip size to pump GPM to avoid choking flow.

If you are Batch Mixing – make sure to up your Draw hose intake line. The pump doesn’t have to work as hard to pull solution, which means less stress on the motor. Keeps the pumps running cooler. You want that pump to have so much behind it then it needs. You will releave a lot of stress off the pump this way.

My favorite gun for sure last me years. Some have seen other issues but we all have our issues with stuff lol

This is the style of tips you need. Do you see the size of the orifice. Wrong tips will destory a pump. Just like undrated equitment suppling the pump.

I also believe that the tanks should draw from the bottom and not from the top. I’ll do a Blog on that soon. I only use MEGA TAPE Also.

This is my one system, Remco 7-100 Psi. It’s all about the Battery storage, thicker wires so your pump & not staving the pump. When you use all the correct parts you release the Beast. All depends on your work load. Might need Air system best system around for sure. Be my next choice then a P40 but Booster pumps are cool too.
